The Human Rights Platform of the Civil Movement “Dayanç” / Turkmenistan presents the documentary film “Transnational Hunt”, dedicated to the issue of transnational repression, abductions, unlawful deportations, and enforced disappearances of Turkmen citizens outside their country. The film tells the story of Farhad Meymankuliev, as well as other civil activists and citizens of Turkmenistan who became victims of pressure, persecution, and transnational crimes. The documentary addresses violations of international law, human rights, the principle of non-refoulement, and the growing problem of denial of protection, documentation, and security for Turkmen citizens abroad. This is a film about pain, fear, struggle, and hope. About people who were forced into silence.
