The Human Rights Platform of the Civic Movement “DAYANÇ” / Turkmenistan joins the international community in honoring the memory of millions of innocent people who became victims of the Holocaust — one of the most horrific tragedies in human history. Six million Jews and millions of people from other nations were systematically murdered as a result of hatred, racism, and an ideology of supremacy. These crimes serve as a reminder of where impunity, dehumanization, and society’s silent acceptance of injustice can lead. The remembrance of the Holocaust is not only about mourning the past. It is a call to action today — a call to defend human rights and to stand against antisemitism, xenophobia, religious and ethnic hatred wherever they appear. History shows that when the rights of one group are violated, the entire society is placed at risk. Indifference becomes complicity. That is why preserving historical memory is a key element in preventing new crimes against humanity. The Human Rights Platform “DAYANÇ” believes that only through education, solidarity, and the active protection of human dignity can we build a world free from genocide, repression, and violence. We honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and reaffirm our commitment to the fight for human rights, justice, and peace for all peoples.
