Public Survey of Citizens of Turkmenistan The Human Rights Platform of the Civic Movement “DAYANÇ / Turkmenistan” is conducting an independent anonymous public survey focused on the authorities’ declared legalization of cryptocurrencies, mining, and virtual assets. Despite official statements, the country lacks: — access to cryptocurrency exchanges and crypto services — a functioning and inclusive banking system — the ability to freely convert currencies — independent judicial protection of property and assets We aim to document the real experiences of citizens and to understand: ▪️ whether people have practical access to cryptocurrencies ▪️ whether they are able to transfer and withdraw funds ▪️ whether they feel their assets are legally protected ▪️ whether these reforms are perceived as real or merely symbolic The survey is fully anonymous. Collected data will be used in human rights reports, analytical materials, and international advocacy efforts.
