In recent months, cases of murder, domestic violence, and severe assaults against women have increased, including incidents involving citizens of Turkmenistan living in Turkey. The Human Rights Platform of the Civic Movement “DAYANÇ” / Turkmenistan addresses all women citizens of Turkmenistan who are currently in the territory of the Republic of Turkey. If you are in danger, experiencing violence, or fear for your life, you can use the official emergency police application KADES. This application was developed by the Turkish Ministry of Interior specifically to protect women from violence. With a single press of a button, your location is sent to the police and emergency assistance is dispatched. Importantly, you can use KADES regardless of your legal status or whether you have valid documents. According to official information, police response usually arrives within five minutes after an emergency alert is sent. Police are obligated to intervene immediately and take necessary measures to protect your life and safety. Do not remain silent. Do not endure violence. Your life and dignity matter.
