Human Rights Platform of the Civil Movement "Dayanç" / Turkmenistan Holds Action in Support of Victims of Violence On 24 July 2026, the Human Rights Platform of the Civil Movement "Dayanç" / Turkmenistan held a peaceful public action near a monument symbolizing the beginning of life, motherhood, and childbirth. The location was chosen deliberately, as the event was dedicated to women and children who have suffered violence in Turkmenistan. The action was primarily dedicated to Jeren Altyyeva and her minor daughter Ogulnur Pelvanova, who, according to available information, were subjected to violence. Despite the family's complaints, medical documentation, and numerous appeals to the authorities, the criminal case was closed, while the alleged perpetrator remains at liberty.
