Freedom of Movement and Family Reunification for Citizens of Turkmenistan – Call for the Repeal of Article 30, Clause 9

Freedom of Movement and Family Reunification for Citizens of Turkmenistan – Call for the Repeal of Article 30, Clause 9

The right to freedom of movement is a basic human right recognized by international law. Every citizen has the right to leave their country and to reunite with their family without unlawful restrictions. However, due to Article 30, Clause 9 of Turkmenistan’s migration law, many people are denied the opportunity to travel, study, work, or reunite with their loved ones. Families remain separated. Parents cannot see their children. Citizens are trapped by administrative barriers. We call on all citizens of Turkmenistan to support the petition demanding the repeal of Article 30, Clause 9. Repealing this provision will restore the right to free movement and family unity. Your signature is your voice. Together, we can defend our fundamental rights. https://www.openpetition.org/petition/neu?title=
