CAMPAIGN "WE WANT ONLY JUSTICE" The Human Rights Platform of the Civic Movement "DAYANÇ" / Turkmenistan announces the launch of an international civic campaign entitled: "We Want Only Justice" This campaign is dedicated to the victims of transnational repression — civil activists and human rights defenders Alisher Sakhatov and Abdulla Orusov, who disappeared on July 24, 2025, on the territory of the Republic of Türkiye, after leaving the deportation center in the city of Edirne. More than seven months have passed since their disappearance. During this time, we have appealed to all possible state authorities, international organizations, human rights institutions, and official bodies. However, to this day: their whereabouts remain unknown, their fate remains unestablished, their families continue to live in pain, fear, and uncertainty. Today, we are compelled to address directly the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. We respectfully ask: — to establish the truth, — to conduct an effective and transparent investigation, — to determine the whereabouts of the missing activists, — to ensure the protection of human rights and the rule of law. The Republic of Türkiye is a state founded on the principles of law, justice, and respect for human rights. We believe that Türkiye remains a country where human life, dignity, and justice are of the highest value. We state clearly and firmly: Activists are not extremists. Activists are not terrorists. Activists are the voice of the people. They defend rights. They speak the truth. They act peacefully. And no one should disappear for this. We do not demand the impossible. We demand only one thing: JUSTICE. We call upon: — the citizens of Türkiye, — the citizens of Turkmenistan, — human rights defenders, — journalists, — the international community, — and all people of conscience, to support the campaign "We Want Only Justice."
