📢 ANNOUNCEMENT OF A PEACEFUL PROTEST On 18 September 2026 at 2:00 PM, a peaceful protest will take place in front of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France, in connection with the upcoming session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. The protest is organised by: — the socio-political organisation Democratic Choice of Turkmenistan (DCT), led by Murat Klychevich Kurbanov; — the Coordination Council of Democratic Forces of Turkmenistan (CCDFT), led by Muhammed Deveji; — the Human Rights Platform of the Civil Movement “Dayanch” / Turkmenistan. We invite citizens of Turkmenistan to take an active part in the protest and publicly express their views. What issues affecting citizens should be raised at the Halk Maslahaty? What problems require urgent solutions? What changes are necessary to protect the rights, freedoms and dignity of the people of Turkmenistan and ensure a decent life for all? If you would like to participate in the protest or submit your questions, demands and proposals to be voiced publicly during the event, please contact us. We also call on citizens of Turkmenistan living in other democratic countries to support this initiative by organising peaceful protests in front of Turkmenistan’s embassies and consulates and openly expressing their views, proposals and demands in connection with the upcoming Halk Maslahaty. The protest must remain strictly peaceful and be conducted in full accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the laws of the country in which the protest takes place.
